Ecovillas are ecologically and socially designed to enable connection with nature, neighbors and wildlife. We believe it’s the right container for every resident to express its real self. The community who eventually emerges from each LEV neighborhood foster support and initiatives, allowing to do together what we cannot alone. We co-create a healthy living, from the names of the villages to their smooth running. Exiting the passive society to answering its values isn’t always easy. La Ecovilla welcomes 43 families from 29 different countries. They built their home on this former cattle farmland, first transformed into an edible forest then organized with roads and general services by 2012.
The new challenge is here! Transforming another cattle farmland and zoo into an intentional community reconnected with nature and wildlife. A land 10 times bigger than the original La Ecovilla!
